Description

To be able to analyse and model the dynamic behaviour of vehicles, it is important to understand the principles of their motion and forces generated by this motion. Therefore, the purpose of the course is to give students the understanding of fundamentals of vehicle dynamics and control in the context of classical approaches to modelling. The course will cover aspects of steering systems, traction and braking, suspension systems including modelling techniques, kinematics and active suspension. Basics of vehicle motion with a human driver will be introduced in terms of control.
